ਫੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਸ਼ ਖੇਡਣ ਦਿਓ
ਨੌਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੰਬਾਕੂ ਫੂਕਣ ਦਿਓ.....


ਅਜੇ ਦੂਰ ਤਕ ਛਵੀਆਂ ਚਮਕ ਰਹੀਆਂ
ਅਜੇ ਦੂਰ ਤਕ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀਆਂ ਦਮਕ ਰਹੀਆਂ......


ਅਜੇ ਘੇੜੇ ਹਿਣਹਿਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਪਏ
ਅਜੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਚਿੰਘਾੜਦੇ ਪਏ
ਅਜੇ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੀਵਾਰਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਪਹਿਰੇਦਾਰ ਘੁੰਮ ਰਹੇ
ਅਜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਰਾਦੇ ਅਸਮਾਨ ਚੁੰਮ ਰਹੇ.....

ਅਜੇ ਹੋਠਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਬੁਝਿਆ ਗੀਤ ਹੈ
ਅਜੇ ਨਾੜਾਂ 'ਚ ਲਹੂ ਸੀਤ ਹੈ.......


ਅਜੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਰਸਦ ਆਉਣੀ ਏ
ਅਜੇ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਸਾਣ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣੀ ਏ
ਅਜੇ ਨਗਾਰਾ ਕੱਸ ਲੈਣ ਦਿਓ
ਅਜੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਰਾਤ ਪੈਣ ਦਿਓ......


ਜਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ'ਚ ਪੂਰਾ ਮੋਹ ਜਾਗੇਗਾ
ਜਦ ਸਾਡੇ 'ਚ ਪੂਰਾ ਰੋਹ ਜਾਗੇਗਾ
ਆਪਾਂ ਓਦੋਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ

Let the brave men complete their nap
as their women put kids to bed

And the blood in the veins still calm

Let the rations arrive
